Ouch!

Well, I finally had the acupuncture today. And yes, some of it hurt. But not too bad and not for long. I will say it's not for the squeamish, for sure. A couple of the needles reminded me very briefly of the times I've had various parts pierced, and several of the needles, I didn't feel coming or going. I had 5 needles in each ear (not on the lobes...IN my ears) and 1 needle in each hand. Then some of the needles were hooked up to electrical currents - kinda like an e-stim device. Then I just reclined in the dark for a while. Afterward, I must say, I felt very peaceful (for lack of a better word) and decided to go home and nap. I found I just couldn't sleep because I felt too good - it wasn't that I felt so good so much as I just didn't feel bad, if that makes sense - so, I drove across town to my favorite car wash and detailed my wheels. Then I came home and cleaned the house and washed the dishes and did the laundry and, and somebody stop me!! I'm finally winding down, and I'm looking forward to a lovely night's sleep. The jury is still out on the whole thing, but so far so good.

Did anybody watch that 20/20 special last night? It was totally kewl.
